Build the ultimate battlefield with Siege figures. Siege plunges fans into the epic fight to survive on the final day of the Autobot and Deception battle to control Cyber Tron. The Deception resistance army and the Autobot counter-resistance fighters gear up with the C. O. M. B. A. T. (Cybertronian Omnifuctional Modular Battlefield Assault Tech) System, the universe's most advanced modular weaponry -- including the overly cautious Autobot army private and medic, Red Alert. The Deluxe Class WFC-S35 Red Alert figure comes with a converting RT-15 Particle Beam Circuit Welder weapon accessory with axe and blaster modes. Figure features multiple C. O. M. B. A. T. System weapon ports to attach weapons, enabling custom configurations in bot and vehicle modes. Transformers and all related characters are trademarks of Hasbro.

    A popular repaint among the Transformers Siege and Generations line, I normally don't buy different characters of the same mold...until I got Red Alert.I really do enjoy this figure- its nearly a spitting image of the Siege Sideswipe, but the head sculpt is different and the main weapon is different. The paint and character is unique enough for it to be worth the money- Good quality as well, nothing has broken or snapped on me yet. I really do recommend getting this figure if you're on the fence about it or happen to see it on sale and would like an additional Siege figure on the shelf. All in all, this is certainly on my top 10 Siege list.

    Adult collectors tend to prefer the imported Masterpiece Series by Takara. Those figures produce more cartoons-accurate robot modes, but they are a project to transform. Red Alert, part of Hasbro’s latest iteration of Transformers, comes very close to his cartoon counterpart with the added bonus of being able to transform him in less than an hour. He’s sturdy enough for children of the appropriate age to play with and looks good enough to satisfy this adult collector. The $20 price point seems a little high, but I middle-aged and remember when Transformers cost about $6. This is a much better toy than I would have gotten in my youth. I don’t know if it’s $20 good, but it’s good.

    Red Alert is paranoid, which is not a bad trait in a Security Director if it's kept in check by reason, logic, and common sense. Red Alert is... not always so good with those other traits. The Autobots appreciate his discriminating eye for detail as well as his all-consuming dedication to safety, but his ratio of false alarms to real emergencies leaves something to be desired. And thanks to the "bot who cried wolf" effect, it makes them less likely to take Red Alert seriously when his sensors detect a genuine threat.

    Red Alert is close friends with Inferno despite their polarized personalities mixing about as well as oil and vinegar. Incidentally, both Autobots feel obligated to keep the other out of trouble and this concern melds them into a reasonably effective duo.

    This toy is a repaint of Siege Sideswipe. This is not uncommon as these guys have shared moulds in past TF toy lines.

    The toy has grown on me after a meh first impression. It is a solid toy (after my 2 year old tried to play with it in car mode and banged him up a bit). Something about him screams generic car autobot - albeit a good one.

    Transformation is intuitive and satisfying. Unlike a lot of other modern TF toys, you don’t actually need the instructions.

    Articulation is what you would expect from a deluxe class TF but you can still get some pretty good poses in robot mode. And yes... the car mode does roll (tester by my 2 year old)

    The only flaw (which could be a bit nit picky) is the transformation of the feet from robot to car. It feels like I am forcing the foot to collapse in and creates a risk that the plastic tab could break but your mileage may vary and maybe it is just my copy.

    This is a good toy that will make a child happy (words from a man child).
